Australian Cricket - Captain-Crew communication

I was just reading about some issues arising during the second cricket test between Australia and India where there was some obvious disagreement. Australian captain, Ricky Ponting was physically expressive when discussing tactics with bowler, Brett Lee, demonstrating that all was not well. The author of the article, Malcolm Conn, suggested Ponting would have been better off communicating in a less demonstrative way and may have got his point across more clearly to Lee in a calm and mannered way. The audience woud have been none the wiser about any existing problem.
It brought to my mind how effective are the rest of us at communicating with our team to get the best results. Each individual has a team within themselves - the communication between the conscious mind and the unconscious mind can be likened to the communication between a Captain and his team. The more aligned and on the same path, the better the results for all.
Are you communicating with your team - are you giving clear instructions? do your words and your feelings match? My latest e-book "Power of Communication" will help you to communicate more clearly towards geting better results in all areas of life. Harmony and You

What are your options in relation to others? Are you in harmony with those around you? Are you in harmony with yourself? I know when I haven’t been in harmony. It has often been when I was doing things to please others and was against what I would have preferred to do or say. It was often in order to be accepted by others, or more fear of being rejected. Doing this constantly can be energetically draining, build resentments and prevent you from really getting the results you deserve in life.

What are you projecting to those around you? Becoming true to yourself, and acting more authentically can be very rewarding, particularly when you really get in touch with who you are. Rather than rejection, one can be accepted more than ever.

Acting in harmony with yourself may require you to set boundaries about how you choose to act in the future, particularly in challenging situations. A boundary may be as simple as giving yourself permission to say “no” to requests or offers. A boundary may be allowing yourself to have special time for you – either daily or weekly, as you require. A boundary may be committing to communicating more directly and honestly when required. I encourage you to think what boundaries you need to be in harmony with those around you.
